Terrill E. Lautz is Vice President, Secretary and directs the Asia Program and the Henry R. Luce Initiative on Religion and International Affairs at the Luce Foundation in New York City. A graduate of Harvard College, he holds M.A. and Ph.D. degrees from Stanford University. Dr. Lautz writes and teaches on China and U.S.-China relations. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, chairs the board of the Yale-China Association, and is secretary of the National Committee on United States-China Relations.
